Last night was night one of the Biggest Loser Challenge here on Blizzard Campus.... I have one thing to say.... OUCH! I must admit, that was the longest hour of my life, but boy was it worth it... Here is the breakdown!
- Lets start with a warm up, Jumping Jacks, Side Jacks, & lunges....
- Move into groups, Sets include Crunches or Roman sit ups, medicine ball throws, Dead lifts and sqwats.
- After multiple sets of each rotation we rounded out the evening with sled runs, 4 times each.
Now, to some, the above may not look like much, but the head instructor took a shine to me & singled me out for my size. Pointing at me he said "You are going to be on my power-lifting team" and just like that, my personal hell began. While most people were squatting with little to no weight on the 45 lbs bar, I had an additional 65 lbs added. He pushed & shoved & in the end, made me a believer! I got this!
